Chile is currently the most attractive country in the region, according to the fifth version of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI), prepared by The Adecco Group, the INSEAD business school and Tata Communications. In the 2018 ranking, Chile took top place in Latin America and the Caribbean, taking 33rd position globally, up one position on 2017.

The report was presented during the inauguration of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The annual ranking measures countries’ ability to grow, attract and retain talent. This year, it evaluated 119 countries, focusing on the potential of diversity for competitiveness as a factor that has yet to be explored.

Aldo Sepúlveda, Adecco’s Chief Sales Officer for Latin America, explained that Chile’s place in the ranking “strengthens our positioning as a country that is advancing firmly towards development, which gives investors confidence”.
